The parable of the lost sheep is beautiful. Jesus says that if someone has 100 sheep and one wanders off he will leave the 99, and search for the 1, and that he is happier about that 1 sheep than the 99 who did not wander off.
"In the same way your Father in heaven is not willing that any of these little ones should be lost" Matt. 15:14
God does not abandon his followers, he zealously seeks the lost. That is something worth smiling about.
