Though you have not seen him, you love him...

1 Peter starts off very powerfully!
Praise be to the God and the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! In his great mercy, he has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, and into an inheritance that can never perish, spoil or fade - kept in heaven for you, who through faith is shielded by God's power until the coming of the salvation that is ready to be revealed in the last time. -1 Peter 1:3-5

Though you have not seen him, you love him; and even though you do not see him now, you believe in him and are filled with an inexpressible and glorious joy, for you are receiving the goal of your faith, the salvation of your souls. -1 Peter 1:8-9

"But the word of the Lord stands forever." 1 Peter 1:25

"He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness; by his wounds you have been healed" 1 Peter 2:24

To every girl who woke up this morning not feeling beautiful, who feels like to be beautiful enough for society she has to cake on the make up and wear fancy clothes... Your beauty should not come from outward adornment, such as braided hair and the wearing of gold jewelry and fine clothes. Instead, it should be that of your inner self, the unfading beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is of great worth in God's sight. 1 Peter 3:3-4

1 Peter 3:8-22 is all good. Take a moment to pull your Bible out and read it. Peter wrote it perfectly, there is nothing I can say about what he wrote, besides how true it all is. Christ died for us!

If you suffer, it should not be as a murderer or theif or any other kind of criminal, or even as a meddler. However, if you suffer as a Christian, do not be ashamed, but praise God that you bear that name. 1 Peter 4:15-16

"Be shepherds of God's flock that is under your care, serving as overseers - not becuase you must, but becuase you are willing, as God wants you to be; not greedy for money, but eager to serve" 1 Peter 5:2
