Mark

Mark 2:6-7, Now some teachers of the law were siting there, thinking to themselves, "Why does this fellow talk like that? He is blasheming! Who can forgive sins but God alone? - This is such a reminder that not only does God see all that we do, he hears our thoughts. It is not any better to think certain things!

Mark 2:17, On hearing this, Jesus said to them, "It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick. I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners." - We all have that to be thankful for, because if Jesus came to have dinner with the righteous, we would not have the life that we are able to have today.

Jesus healed many. My favorite healing of Jesus is the healing of the man with the crippled hand on the Sabbath. Although, Mark did not go into as many details about the healing as Matthew did, I still love reading about it!

  1. Mark 2:6-7 is a good reminder that although some people can make everyone believe they are a "good Christian," God is able to see into our hearts and minds, and it's His judgement we should be concerned about, not the judgement from other people.

    Love Mark 2:17!!!
