I am still working on catching up. On the way home from work, I was not in the best mood. All I could think about was how I just wanted to sit on my couch and watch tv. I knew that I needed to read my Bible more than I needed to watch tv... So, here I am. :)
I just love Romans.
"Let no debt remain outstanding, except the continuing debt to love one another, for he who loves his fellowman has fulfilled the law." Romans 13:8
"Accept him whose faith is weak, without passing judgement on disputable matters" Romans 14:1
"If we live, we live to the Lord; and if we die, we die to the Lord. So, whether we live or die, we belong to the Lord." Romans 14:8
"The God of peace will soon crush Satan under your feet. The grace of our Lord Jesus be with you." Romans 16:20
1 Corinthians
I have never read this book before. From the introduction in my Bible, I am excited about what this book has to bring to my life. The only part of this book I know is, 1 Corinthians 13:4-8... which is my most favorite passage in the whole Bible.
"For in Him you have been enriched in every way - in all your speaking and in all your knowledge" 1 Cor. 1:5 This is so true. In Christ, I have been enriched in every way.
Don't you love how God has enriched our lives since we have chosen to follow him? Ahh, He's so good! Do not stress about catching up. Just love that you are catching up :)
